God never placed a price on prayer or on those who want to worship in His house. But, the men of God (pastors) at the First African Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia, decided that their parishes have to pay them if they want to worship in God's house.

A little ol’ 92-year-old woman named Josephine King learned this the hard way. Mrs. King became ill and she couldn’t place any money in the collection plate.

So the pastors at the First African Baptist Church decided that the little ol’ 92-year-old woman needed to worship God in another building.

WALB quoted Senior Pastor Derrick Mike as saying, “Josephine King is no longer considered a member of the First African Baptist Church of Bainbridge, GA...has shown non-support towards the church in the areas of constant and consistent financial and physical participation.”

Hence, Mrs. King can’t use that “I’m 92. My joints and bones aren’t working like they use to and that Social Security Check isn’t coming through” as excuses to why she couldn’t give her time and check to the pastors at the First African Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia.

In the eyes of the pastors at the First African Baptist Church, Mrs. King’s sin was not bringing Grant and Benjamin to the altar.

Never mind the fact that according to Matthew 21:13 Jesus told the carpet baggers that His Father’s House is a “house of prayer” and not “a den” for thieves.

The pastors at the First African Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia, want their money. Or, as the message outside the church says, “Everyone Welcome But Remember You Can’t Put Worship On Layaway.”

Basically, your dues must be paid in full if you want to worship at the First African Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia.
